Forest Ridge Parkway

posted Dec 7, 2015, 6:24 PM by Forest Ridge
UPDATE: Excavation will begin tomorrow morning (December 8), and traffic will be rerouted to the outbound side. For those residents with children, buses will be entering through the Wiederstein gates, so this could potentially change your child’s pick-up and drop-off time slightly. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but it is imperative that we get this sinkhole fixed immediately to avoid any further issues.

This message is sent to inform you about what is being done to address the sinkhole on Forest Ridge Parkway. Pavecon and Forest Ridge are working to resolve this issue. Starting today, Monday December 7, you will begin seeing some work on the entrance side as Pavecon crews begin the process of excavating the area in an effort to determine the root cause of the sinkhole. Traffic will be redirected to the exit side during this process, so it may be easier to use the Wiederstein gates. Although both ends will still be operational, the exit side on 3009 will allow two-way traffic. Once we have discovered what is causing the problem, Pavecon and the Board will work together to come up with the best solution possible for all parties involved. We understand this is an inconvenience, and we will work diligently to resolve this matter as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation. If you have any questions or concerns during this process, please contact Mike Hunsucker at Spectrum Association Management at 210-483-8136.

Sincerely,

Mike Hunsucker, Community Manager, Spectrum Association Management
and
Board of Directors, Forest Ridge Owners Association, Inc.
