Overnight Work at H-E-B October 15

Dear Homeowners:

We received notification from H-E-B that on Wednesday, October 15, overnight work will be done to connect power between the old and new buildings. Loud noises are not expected, but they wanted homeowners to be aware in case something is heard.

We were provided the following timeline of events and wanted to share it with you:
Wednesday, October 15, 2014
11:00 p.m. – H-E-B store will close.
11:30 p.m. – CPS will turn power off to entire site.
11:30 p.m. – 2:30 a.m. – Construction to proceed connecting power from old to new building.
2:30 a.m. – 3:00 a.m. – CPS will turn power back on to entire site.
(Subject to change.)

We understand that, at times, H-E-B can be not-so-neighborly with operating noise, but the Board appreciates the fact that they are trying to accommodate Forest Ridge. As part of the re-development, H-E-B has agreed to install an 8-foot metal fence along their property line with Forest Ridge to increase the sound barrier. They are also installing new directional lighting to prevent spill over into private property, as well as painting the back of the building an eye-appealing earth tone. We hope you’ll celebrate these achievements with us.

Thank you,
