Pool Update - 6/18

posted Jun 18, 2020, 9:11 AM by Forest Ridge
Dear Residents,

In line with the City of Schertz guidelines for occupancy, the Board of Directors increased the pool occupancy to 50%. This means a maximum of 44 people will be permitted inside the pool area at any one time. Please note, all other guidelines that were communicated to the community remain the same and are listed
below as a reminder.

Please read the following information carefully before utilizing the facility.

To provide the needed level of sanitation and manage occupancy the Association has worked with our management company (Spectrum) and our pool vendor (Seven Wells) to hire Monitors who will be present during operating hours.

Limitations:

Pool Operating Hours will be limited to 18 Hours per week:
  • Wednesday: 2pm to 8pm
  • Saturday and Sunday: 10am to 4pm.
Occupancy and Usage:
  • Maximum occupancy is 44 people (not including the Pool Monitor)
    • Please practice social distancing
    • Stagger seating and group by household
  • Each resident will be admitted on a first come/first serve basis
  • To ensure all residents have equal access to the pool, a 2 Hour time restriction will be in effect
    • Each resident will be required to sign in upon entry to the pool
    • The pool monitor will notify you when your 2-hour period is near its end
    • If other residents are waiting, you will be asked to leave so others may enjoy the pool
  • You are welcome to cycle back in but ask that you allow others access
  • DO NOT USE THE POOL IF YOU HAVE A COUGH, FEVER, OR OTHER SYMPTOMS OF ILLNESS
Sanitation and Oversight:
  • Occupancy and sanitization will be managed by Pool Monitors.
  • Restroom surfaces and door handles will be sanitized hourly
  • All pool furniture will be secured and unavailable for use
    • Residents are encouraged to bring a folding chair if desired
The monitors are young adults hired by Seven Wells and paid for by your HOA. We ask that you to treat the monitors with courtesy and respect any requests. They will have been instructed on their responsibilities and will be acting on behalf of the Board of Directors. The pool is opened conditionally with the understanding that association members who access the pool will cooperate with these guidelines.

By entering the pool, you take responsibility for your actions and protection. You are responsible for disinfecting your hands and anything you use or touch before and after each use.

Best Regards,
Board of Directors
Forest Ridge
